You Are Always Welcome At St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church

We welcome you if you are just dropping in, have been here for a few weeks, a few years or if your family calls this place home. We welcome you if your ancestors have always been here or come from somewhere else on this beautiful planet we call Earth.

We extend a welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, shacked-up, lesbian, straight, gay, bi-sexual, trans-gender, transitioning, queer, a-sexual, pan-sexual, cisgender, two-spirit or are just learning what most of those terms mean, or still exploring your own identity.

You are welcome if you are over 60 but not grown up yet, a teenager who is growing up too fast or someone who has always been an old soul. We extend a welcome to those who have crying babies, are crying newborns or are crying along with their kids.

Whether you are as skinny as a rail, as fit as a fiddle or could afford to lose a few pounds, we welcome you. We welcome those who are inked, pierced, cut or all of the above. We welcome whoever it is you see in the mirror when you get up in the morning.

You’re welcome here if you’re just browsing, just woke up or just got out of jail.

If this is the first time you have ever set foot in a church, you are welcome. We look forward to learning more about your world. If you have been to church before, we don’t care where, you are welcome.

We welcome soccer dads, hockey moms, starving artists, struggling students, life-long learners, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, vegetarians, vegans, junk-food eaters, omnivores and dinosaurs.

We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted. We will stand with you and your family as you take one step at a time.

We welcome all the people who are carrying the world on their shoulders. We are here whenever you need us, just like you are there caring for others when they need you most.

Whether your business is big or small, whether you work for yourself, your family or someone else, whether you buy, sell, design, build, fix, grow, cook or serve, whether you are trying hard to get off the ground or are ready to retire, you are welcome here.

We welcome you if you’re having problems or you’re down in the dumps or if you don’t like organized religion … we’ve been there too.

We welcome people who want to share their experience and joy with others. We welcome the volunteers who help make our communities the place we want to call home.

We offer a welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, or just got lost in traffic and wound up here.

We welcome YOU!
